Sol received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Florida International University’s Honors College with a major in International Relations, minor in Political Science, and Certificate in Law, Ethics, and Society. Sol accepted an academic scholarship to attend the Florida International University College of Law in the fall of 2010. During her studies, Sol spent a summer abroad in Seville, Spain where she studied civil law in conjunction with common law. Sol was an active member of her class, and served as her Student Counsel’s class representative, as well as serving as the first secretary of the newly founded Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. Additionally, Sol participated in the Environmental Law Clinic where she practiced federal law, and the Family Law Clinic where she assisted families going through difficult legal issues as well as advocating for children with disabilities in the school system. In her last year of law school, Sol spent her summer in Washington, D.C. serving as a legal intern at the Greenpeace Headquarters after being selected from 100 potential candidates worldwide.
Upon graduating, Sol gained experience in the insurance industry. First, by learning the law of personal injury protection. Sol went on to spend a great deal of time learning about the remediation industry and first party property insurance as well. Sol has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2016.
At Gimenez & Carrillo, LLC, Sol handles a wide array of cases with a concentration in homeowner’s cases.
